The outplacement experience

Diversitas (the Latin word for diversity) provides a professional, personalised and transformative outplacement service to support employees who have been made redundant and/or who need expert help in making a successful career transition.

Our success with supporting employees through this period is due to the dedication of our highly experienced coaches who support our client’s employees in a one-to- one coaching capacity throughout their outplacement program.

A program is structured for each employee based on their individual career needs to ensure the coaching sessions are valuable and focused on meeting their goals. 

Our coaches bring experience working in Human Resources, Recruitment, Training and Career & Executive Coaching across a variety of industry sectors, with employees at all levels including entry to mid-level staff, senior managers and executive level employees.

Clients can be confident that their employees will receive the highest level of coaching support, from coaches who are up to date about the current job market and job search strategies and tools, including social media. Our coaches not only offer extensive coaching experience helping clients secure new employment, they are also experienced in supporting employees through the emotional side of redundancy, which is essential for employees to come through the other side focused, confident and job search ready.

Outplacement program details

The outplacement program offers the employee four coaching sessions. Included is an initial 30-minute diagnostic call with the coach to learn more about their coaching needs and to check in with them around their personal wellbeing post redundancy. We also keep our clients updated throughout the employee’s transition.

The coaching topic’s employees chose to focus on with their coach will vary dependent on the life and career stage of each employee. Some examples include:

New to Job Searching

Employees who have not searched for a job in many years or ever, may use the sessions to develop their Resume and LinkedIn profile, in addition to working on job search strategies, networking and interview preparation. 

Exploring Self Employment

Employees may be looking to set up their own business or become a consultant, in turn our coaches would support them with this process.  From exploring what they have to offer, their business vision and goals through to the practicalities of setting up a business.

Exploring Study

Employees looking to study and/or to make a complete career transition, would lead to the coach working with them on their career vision and goals and a career management plan, undertaking a personality profile, and exploring the best fit study options.

New Career

Employees looking to make a complete career change would be supported by their coach and an online ‘Career Clarity Program’ which includes 8 weekly modules to complete with the ongoing 1-2-1 coaching support and check ins from their coach. Or they have the option to select their preferred topics to work through with the coach.

We understand that redundancy is a distressing process for employer and employee alike.  At Diversitas we are focussed on providing an outplacement service that will minimise the stress and trauma caused by redundancy on all parties involved. We work hard with our clients to maintain their employer brand, employee morale, and ensure departing staff feel they are treated respectfully throughout the process.

Outplacement program fee

• The program includes the following:
• Career diagnostic and personal wellbeing check in call post redundancy for 30 minutes by their coach
• Career Coaching Sessions 4 x 1 hour+
• Feedback call / email to client about employee progress to notify of the employees first coaching engagement, midway through the process and at the end of the outplacement program.
• Access to live and pre-recorded webinars on career related topics (how to stay motivated to get the job, personal branding, how to reinvent your career and find clarity, thinking about study?)
• Access to a comprehensive range of career guides, materials, workbooks, resume templates, etc.

Total program fee per employee is $950 plus GST
Note: The program is valid for 12 months from date of engagement.
